The pipeline won’t be connected to the Bayu Undan pipeline. There’s a separate project to duplicate it to the original plan location intersection, and continue north past the Tiwi’s. The intention is to use the old line purely for CO2 export from DLNG to the Bayu Undan platform for sequestration.
I imagine there’s significant issues in relocating the pipeline out 30kms with regards to the EP and likely need to completely re-do. And there’s a marine park out there too.
