Personally, I don't think the drilling crew have any idea how much pipe is left in the hole.
We have seen conflicting reports since the recovery operation commenced and as we all know, for the first time, there was no mention of the amount of remaining lost pipe.
Perhaps there is only 100' remaining, maybe 400', who knows. One thing is for certain, judging by most of their recovery reports, they certainly have no idea.
