Thanks @stockrock for your useful and timely summary. May I just add that China is serious about implementing its 13FYP which ends in 2020 and this is back-ended. Read the article above.
The momentum that FLC saw in 2019 in China can only accelerate, not slow down. We haven't heard from other sizable SOEs like Zhejiang Tiandi, although they have been quiet since the early demonstration plants.
I have been re-reading @Relax1's earlier postings for the last few days , namely, (https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/media-update.4513499/page-511?post_id=37861836) and (https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/media-update.4513499/page-519?post_id=37865614) and I have a hunch that their silence doesn't mean nothing is happening in the background. Thanks to @willchang409 who further drew me to this: http://www.zjenergy.com.cn/jtww/gsyw/20191126/6927.html, my view is bolstered that 2020 will see some orders from them.
