The interesting thing about the VIL trading halt is the reasons (plural) given.
Now the ASX announcement is set out as GeordieP copied and pasted in his post below.
However, if you go beyond that page to the opage from VIL itself requesting the Trading Halt then you find this comment made :
"The Company advises as follows: 1. The trading halt is being requested by the Company as it is currently in discussions regarding a new investment opportunity and capital raising;....."
Okay a capital raising ! BUT...... a new investment opportunity !!!!???? Is Verus going to be involved in another one of the GGP / Pass projects somewhere in Louisiana ?
I can't imagine that VIL would be drifting too far from its present connections with GGP or one of the Perth stable of oil juniors.
So what are we going to find out come Tuesday ?
