Well, more bad news for central,
Let me extract the line that should raise concern as referenced directly below this paragraph. Maybe this is why the share price has dropped. Now central mentioned a couple of times. As I have stated prior, it is most important to hear two sides of a story, one side is presented below and for a central investor, not good at all.
"But it needs gas from onshore, including from the fields that Central Petroleum operates west of Alice Springs. Without fracking, a sustained supply of gas into that pipeline will be put at risk.”
Peak industry group says millions will be lost in exploration dollars if there is moratorium on fracking

Hundreds of millions of exploration investment in the gas industry will cease as a result of any moratorium on fracking, a peak industry group has said.
The Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association NT director Matthew Doman said Territory Labor’s policy would have consequences. He said the exploration investment figure would exceed $200 million.
“There are many companies including Santos, Origin, Pangaea, Inpex and around Alice Springs Central Petroleum is dedicated to investing in and developing new sources of gas for use in the Territory and beyond,” he said.
“If they aren’t allowed to use the technique of hydraulic fracturing – fracking – they won’t be able to bring these new sources of gas on and there will be consequences both in terms of a diminished and more expensive supply of gas but also there will be less investment, there’ll be less employment, and there will be less revenue flowing to traditional owners.”
Mr Doman said there would be a question mark over the proposed Tennant Creek to Mt Isa pipeline and this view was shared by Jemena, which said any difficulties in customers accessing gas would compromise economic benefits.
“There is a source of gas for that pipeline that’s coming from offshore … from the Blacktip Field. You know that probably doesn’t involve the fracking technique, so it wouldn’t be impacted by it,” Mr Doman said.
