Experience with a medtech company trying to establish its presence in the US makes me wonder whether the following could be problems:- How much effort - and money - will the company have to put in to get private payors to pay? Could doctors be reluctant to prescribe it if their non-Medicare and Medicaid patients can't be reimbursed?
How will the company make doctors aware of the test's existence, and benefits? Or is it that Sonic's responsibility? Has the company got key opinion leaders on its side?
Long term holders will probably criticize me for lack of research , and I plead guilty - Proteomics has been on the periphery for me, and I have looked much more closely at other companies. The promise seems wonderful, just the execution may be more difficult than hoped.
