PIR ran from 2c to $2.00 in under 3 years on the back of their South Western Mali ground.
Now BGS have acquired a highly prospective 1,683km land package surrounding the 6m oz Morila gold mine owned by Randgold… a $10 BILLION dollar company.
The Morila Gold Mine has produced over 6Moz of gold since commencing operations in 2000, at an average cash cost of US$216/oz. In 2002 the mine produced more than one million ounces of gold at a recovered grade of 12g/t gold and cash cost of US$74/oz !!!
Do yourself a favour and take a moment to look at the map provided with the BGS announcement on 23/10. Note the two 7m oz project that surround the BGS tenements. Including the Morila Gold Mine and RSG’s 7m oz Syama mine.
BGS market cap a puny $2 million only. Now with cash and Macquarie on board the company will be keen to start drilling high priority targets. PIR not far away in Mali now a $400 million dollar company. RSG next door with their Syama mine worth $1 billion. Randgold worth $10 billion.
The BGS story is just getting started.
