I believe nothing these days unless it has been put forward in a court and sworn- oh and proven to be valid as people can still say untruths in court.

At the time it is the very questions ASIC etc should have been asking if the numbers came from them and they should have been amended and corrected if not correct by the various websites that have published them.

In hindsight IMO you would hope eventually if there was action part of that action would be obligation of media release with statements correcting history or ASIC publishing such along with any action they take publicly - no private deals in camera .
