Registry on website usually has their version of off market transfer form ( australian standard just with their letter head on it) and you fill it out and lodge it. Many registries process them free of charge - well they did . They also hold them ( enter them?) so when / if the registry opens they get processed . Just look at registry site or give them a call when you need to do one.
To go from sponsored ( by broker) to issuer sponsored (effectively registry sponsored ) takes a few days for your broker top process but they have to do it in 2 days I think as the standard settlement but........... Registry will then send out new holding as issuer sponsored.
Always check what teh circumstances are. Most Aussie accountants and brokers / advisors are clueless to the actual way stuff is processed in back office of brokers and registries .
