ASX pre - empted a softer night by going flat yesterday

SPI futures only down 17 as a result

Of note, it is good to see the VIX continues to find resistance ion the downward trend line ofg the August peak. Would be nice to see it back in the 20's, but probably a little too early for that

Would expect volumes to be very light, except for those leaving us in the Long lounge

World stock markets apparently waiting on Obama's speech before running or plummeting to the world of Martis's prediction

Funny thing is no matter what he says, probably cant get it through congress anyway

Big hope now is th G7 come up with the silver bullet to knock this thing over. One can only hope
