Surely it is time for the proponents of global warmingTM to come clean. Vic and SA have been in a wind drought for over a week now. Vic wind assets have been between 5 and 10% capacity factor for most of this time, still totally reliant on lignite and northern state's black coal to keep the lights on. But we have been assigning disproportionate amounts of our precious national wealth to "Net Zero" for decades now. It is time to show it can be done or to walk away.
I'm lukewarm on nuclear because we have time to see what next gen power will look like, just burn coal until we know for sure. Europe will prove up the next technology, we can wait.
