re: poor weekly performance :)
Hi folks,
Let's face it, by now everybody knows that
PSA has a winning formula for production,
from old fields in GOM.
ACturtle's observation about the small finds
and the necessity to maintain a flow of these
is about the only mildly negative factor, in
the whole story.
So, it has little to do with the capacity of
PSA to make money ..... it is simply
unattractive for sizable TRADERS to get
involved ..... first, because it is difficult to
obtain a sizable parcel and on the flipside it
is just as difficult to unload a big parcel,
without driving the price through the floor.
All that boils down to a lack of liquidity ... a
point we have expressed many times in the
past, only to be met with a barrage of abuse.
In reality, "investors" in PSA are blaming
everything for its poor performance, except
the root cause .....
..... until the liquidity problems are sorted
out, it will only attract opportunistic traders
(like moi), taking advantage of the thin
trading and making PSA gyrate in short
spasms.
Of course, TF and the board may not have
any real desire to accommodate the market
at all, preferring for the status quo to remain
..... given PSA's recent history, that could
well be the case.
Meanwhile, we can trade other counters,
until the next rally in PSA surfaces ..... lol
have a great weekend all
yogi
:)
