I think it was a very smart move to acquire those businesses. They always had a 50% stake in Santalos, but by acquiring it and ViroXis, they can maximise the synergies of the business, and gives them complete access to additional marketplaces (acne marketplace alone approx. $4b, of which they already have Benzac, pharmaceutical acne product licensed to Nestle-owned Galderma).
I think it was a very smart move to acquire those businesses....
