there are plenty of examples of this over recent times.
I think one of the problems is that they have numerous producing mines with perhaps 2 of them being larger than the rest.
Pity it wasn't a case of 1 or 2 larger mines at high grade with low cost similar to wsa,then that would be the only chance of interest from another party.
More chance for igo or wsa to be taken over,but can't see any t/over action in smaller base metal companies whilst metal prices depressed and in the current turmoil.
however,mcr should be around for the long haul with excellent mngmt and cash in bank and debt free.
Will possibly take many years before the sp gets anywhere near its all time high just over $5.
People have been calling mcr a bargain all the way down from $2,who would have thought that the sp is getting close to 50c.Now that would be a bargain and time to load up imo.
