The land purchase is interesting - not only does it give you more options for the location of your primary site, but it should also cancel some royalties payable on the land once coal extraction starts in those areas. This will probably mean it ends up paying for itself in the longer term.
Just regarding the rights issue. If someone had approached me a month ago, saying they have a load of RES to sell and they only want 40c a share for them. I would have loaded the truck up. It looks an absolute no brainer to take up as many as you can afford.
