You do understand that Labor (spelt without the 'u' this isn't the UK) see it as a transition fuel from a coal based economy to a renewables economy. They aren't against all gas proposals (see the Perth Basin for instance and which I have shares in those companies exposed to that opportunity) only those that they consider environmentally damaging - which is in their eyes PEP-11.
