I will however caution as to making decisions based on assuming another party does their homework and makes good decisions. Just because someone is a major fund, a player in an industry, or has some reason to be discussed, does not mean they are asking the right questions or making good decisions, and that you should therefore use them as confirmation of your own views.

History is full of examples where parties seemingly in the know have blown up by making the same poor decisions that the rest of us make , albeit for much much bigger numbers, and usually with money that isn't theirs.
