The issue with the single skin block walls is it's more work and takes longer for carpenters to fit cabinetry, door jambs, frames, skirtings and architraves because everything has to be pre- drilled plugged and screwed into place. Roof trusses will still be manually erected by a team of carpenters, and all walls will still have to be lined or rendered.
