March 2014 - Pivotal Trial Underway
From March 2014 to November 2014 - Trial is included in every presentation as underway and progressing.
November 2014 - in a non-market sensitive announcement:
"1. We announced that we had approval to begin a
pivotal trial in Australia
2. Protocol being amended to meet US and EU
regulatory recommendations
3. Trial design is being modified to increase the
statistical powering
4. Manufacturing and logistical process is being
finalised to comply with local importation
requirements"
Viz. In the space of 8 months from gaining approval to conduct a trial, the company had not recruited a single patient and zero hospitals within cooee had signed up to host the trials. One would think the company had a duty of care to inform the market (upto Nov2014) that the timelines for starting treatment and obtaining data had been stretched out.
And then nothing until a Feb 2015 update, when:
"Active patient recruitment into Pivotal Study expected to commence Q3CY2015."
I await with bated breath for CE marking and news of 1st patient and 1st hospital signups. Will the company announce a timely delay announcement? that is the real question with this company...
