This morning by close, the S&P finished only 3 points higher for the day.
But BBUS opened down a smidge over 2% this morning.
This tells me it has to be following futures more than the actual S&P500.
Been watching it a fair bit since we chat about this and you can watch BBUS consistently following the US futures direction all day during our session. If futures ticks down, the BBUS bids all shift lower, and vice versa.
