The batshit crazy lunacy that is Pizza Gate was invented as a joke on 4Chan and Reddit after the Podesta emails were leaked in November 2016. Being Italian-American, the Podestas would talk about pizza nights and one wag noticed "cheese pizza" had the same initials as "child pornography". He ran with the ludicrous smear, and much to his surprise Trump supporters believed it.
In May 2017, five months after the alt-right invented the "cheese pizza" code, a dumb paedophile called Stephen Salamak used it in a real ad on Craigs List. Because he read Breitbart News and, like Enslavement, was silly enough to believe it.
