of the busiest DK store in the network was sold to a South African who from what im told owns something like 13 pub/bar/gaming establishments in South Africa and has the capital to further invest in stores in Australia. time Will tell how that goes.
I think in their interim results there were still more total outlet closures then openings (inc corp stores) and until this changes even with sales growth - profit will be flat.
I also think with interest rates creeping up money is no longer cheap and that will limit new store openings from new franchisees.
