The FIRB limit is 15% after the issue, the ASX limit is 15% of currently issued shares. Perhaps its a technicality they can get away with, but either way the scope for buybacks is severely curtailed, as will be the ability of M&G to support it. Sooner or later its going to have to face the market on its fundamentals - which are?
