Okay say they announce what you have suggested. The next day or so negotiations and discussions take place that have now changed the landscape. The funding requirements have changed or something to that affect. The media now starts releasing more information regarding the new changes so we are back to speculation again with the general population or retail shareholders. Now what do they do? make another announcement the previous announcement now doesn't cover the current speculation. See what I am saying?
The longer the suspension goes for with speculation about people losing jobs and 3rd party suppliers to SGR the more it puts the spotlight on the issues surrounding SGR including the affects of over regulation/taxes.
Ruling 17.5 can be simply an extension but imposed by the ASX so I don't know where you are getting the idea it automatically puts you in the dog house. All companies in suspension are under ruling but the circumstances why they are there are not the same. If you think SGR have not communicated with the ASX about the suspension than I'm not sure what else to say.
