Star “failed” money laundering because it was an easy scapegoat, the same hypocritical officials that knew & benefited from casinos harbouring a den of iniquity are the ones who’re (probably don’t need that apostrophe) now grandstanding their virtues white letting far worse criminal tools like bitcoin prosper
I”ve personally not experienced anymore homelessness around Star than the city in general but of the multitude of societal problems created around homelessness Star patrons antidotally giving them money seems like a ridiculous distraction
