Would not ignore the perilous impending class actions for SGR. Not a litigation lawyer, so would not be so naive or reckless just to gloss over the potential financial and reputational (assuming there is some modicum remaining) risks for SGR. As I understand it, an individual may not benefit from more than one class action, but in the interim SGR Board has to cope with the costs and inconvenience from at least several well-funded and resourced concurrent class actions. Your analogy with QAN is neither accurate nor commensurate. It is established from recent events that the only reasons QAN remains in business today are the many and varied support measures and policies of the Federal Govt, eg $2.7 Bn bailout and a clear stated policy from the current Federal Govt to ensure the airline remains viable. Do you really consider the SGR Board is up to these significant challenges, just look at the cratering SGR sp to identify the market's assessment of their performance so far.
