ABN Amro Morgans created an after-market stir, conducting an overnight book-build to place about 12 million shares in heart-aid maker Ventracor .
Ventracor rose 10 ¢ to $3.15 but some institutions said the placement was likely to be priced closer to $2.20 no great surprise as the stock closed at $2.09 a week ago. Ventracor shares have jumped 45.8 per cent as a result of progress in clinical trials.
