Guys ... you are all assuming that they CAN go to the Bank for a loan. I think they have Buckley's in the current environment without hedging. I think they had to go to the market to fatten up the coffers as there wasn't any other choice (except a protracted SPP). Maybe:
1. They are in negotiations with long term Lenders now but the Terms and processes are 'dragging on' and they didn't want to roll over for such a small amount of money.
2. These 'outside' investors might be a strategic investment.
But, we'll never know because they won't communicate this sort of stuff to the market ... definately secret mens business with the 3 man cartel (the 'Board').
