"Some 330 million securities -- more than six times the volume in the previous trading session -- changed hands, before they settled back to close at 51.5c, well above the rights issue price of 40c.
Sources said the placement to raise $756 million from institutions was oversubscribed "multiple times". Not unexpectedly, its $355m retail offer, due to open on Friday, is fully underwritten."
