    I agree that the WPL placement was a master stroke for the company hardmano, but seriously, how much was genious and how much was luck?

    Placement was made ex Chinguetti and pre Courbine, at or around the current market price. I'm sure at the time nobody knew Courbine would be a duster, Ted would have been as surprised as the market following the first hole success. If he did have any inkling, WPL would have had the same info.
