If the plague was the cause of Anvil's (AVM's) slide last week then MTO would have followed suit. MTO however went up quite significantly in the week in anticipation of the drilling program results and reserves estimates, due in March. The TSX listing, also due in the near future is also putting upward pressure on Moto.
As for the plague, I doubt it will have much affect on MTO. Moto has no major workforce in the country apart from the people operating the drilling program. You've got to remember Moto is only an exploration company, not a producer. This week will tell how worried the market is about the plague.
IMHO accumulation and strong buying due to the two events I mentioned earlier will outweigh any worries about the plague. I think MTO will hit 50c at some stage during the week. Purely my opinion. Time will tell.
