I dont see what the difference is from any National Park, they put tracks in and youre not supposed to go off them etc. So what if you cant climb a rock? It really is an ugly scar on it. Ive driven there from Sydney, didnt feel the need to climb up it for the sake of it. There's a lot more interesting places than Uluru around there anyway, it didnt impress me that much, was happy to get away from there. Just a tourist trap imo.
