Firstly, Israel are not squeaky clean, but Hamas are a dangerous Islamic terrorist organisation that have been poking the sleeping lion for many years.
To say ' ISRAELhell genocidal brutality of Palestine' is about what I would expect from an ABC journalist.

To suggest this is 'ultra convenient' is laughable. Israel cannot even control their own desolate patch of sand, let alone orchestrate a war between super powers.
Essentially, Russia fights the same turds Israel does. Russia arms Assad, who fights ISIS, who fund Hamas. That makes Russia and Israel allies.
Rather poor form to blame the Jews for this. Next thing you will blame the Jews for stubbing you toe on the kitchen island corner, because they made the kitchen island square instead of round.
I do concede its convenient for Israel, but but but? Whats going on in Iraq? ISIS anyone? Oh, thats old news, no point reporting on it. Israel/gaza is becoming old. MH17 down or not, Israel conflict reporting was on the down.
