Hi all, thought it was interesting looking at the cumulative volume of the past week. The first chart shows just the cumulative volume up to and including the peak at 73.5c. You can see the big volume at 68.5c and below has put a floor on the price this week while the big volume at 71.5c and above has defined the ceiling.
The second chart shows all the cumulative volume for this week. As you can see, a heap of volume has built up at 69.5c, 70c and 70.5c. Wondering if the buyers trapped above have been slowly capitulating and selling out at these lower levels, or the sellers at 68.5c and below are slowly being lured in to buy higher. Maybe a bit of both, hence sideways, but if it's more a case of the latter, then perhaps the support below is slowly being eroded and if it breaks down you suddenly have a heap of trapped buyers (supply) parked above wanting out potentially adding fuel to a down move or just a barrier to an up move. Obviously a move above 73.5c would be very bullish with a solid base below.
