    Bacci, excellent post. I think that in fact the above quote in your post is precisely what is going to happen. I heard Minister Albanese interviewed on Sky this morning and he said just that-every effort would be made to employ /train Australians and if there was still a shortfall the fallback position would be a minimum of just under 7000 Australian workers and a maximum of 1700 overseas 457 visa workers. The pressure should be maintained to ensure that as many Australians as possible are engaged and I am certain that is precisely what the ACTU and unions will be doing. Hopefully the mining magnates will follow Twiggys lead and co-operate.
