I was in China last week and read an article in a paper about plant based PET made from agricultural sugar waste. A young Chinese scientist approached TCCC (The Coca-Cola Company) in Atlanta some years ago about doing a trial which, after perseverance, was accepted with open arms. It has been rolled out as a pilot to 24 countries mainly in the Americas with huge acceptance by all concerned given the low "green" footprint and its carbon neutral profile.
No doubt it will come here and will be a huge win for CCA.
