Don't think of the permit as an impediment to the Project. It is a regulatory aspect of the Mine, which is granted once the mining operational, safety and environmental control systems are suitably demonstrated to the regulatory authority. It will most likely be an iterative process as the NSW DPI and CCU correspond back and forth over aspects of the mine's management documents.

The regional council has already approved the development - that was more of a hurdle.

As for progress of the plant, there was an illustration in the recent progress reports which showed which components of the plant had been completed and which were under way.
