What an amazing situation we are faced with! The SP is flat out staying above 31c on the one hand, yet someone is willing to pledge 84.5c on the stock in 17 months time -albeit 9.5c down now. I would have thought to put a few hundred thousand on your credit card at 20.5% would have been a cheaper option - so to speak.
But I find the maths intriguing. For the options to be in the money and then to be making more money than a straight shares investment, they are dependent on the shares going up over 3.5 times to $1.09.
To that I can say only one thing, I hope he makes a bundle.
