This is a trend that will soon be happening everywhere. The humble standard plastic bag is on the way out. Stores are now charging for plastic bags as a deterrent and pushing "Green" bags.

This issue with the "Green" reusable bags is that they are in actual fact harder to break down than the standard plastic bag, which is kind of defeating the purpose of going green..

As for Bottles, companies like Coca-Cola are going to be forced to jump on the band wagon and use environmentally friendly packaging. I like to call it WCP - World Consumer Pressure. This is not just a small minority group, but rather a global phenomenon pushed by passion or fear. In any case all forms or processor/producer, large or small will be forced in one way or another to market and present their products in a manner which is socially and environmentally acceptable. I’ve noticed company websites which are now promoted as “Green Websites”……..?

Anyhow, companies with the IP to create and manufacture biodegradable products are going to be well suited to this trend – and in my opinion, this trend is only just begining.
