ceh, this topic has been discussed many times. Try searching and you will find HotCopper threads on this topic. For example, this topic was discussed on the CFDs forum in February 2014. However, during the conversion to the new version of HotCopper the boffins lost thousands of posts from the CFDs forum. By chance I discovered yesterday that the missing posts are now mixed in with the 'International Markets' forum, but with a blank Tag.

Is there a preferred CFD provider, probably not as it appears that participants on the CFDs forum use a variety of CFD providers. I use FPMarkets.
