I just cant understand the car industry.
All we hear is the need for bailouts...including here in Australia.

Over the years, why haven't they improved their efficiencies??

I think the US car industry will be bailed out. The government could not afford to place 3m people on unemployment benefits.

I think they are just threatening the unions.
WHen the US does bail them out, I hoping it is at least on conditions that would see widespread restructure in this industry. If that means cutting 1m from the workforce, then it is far better than 3m.

Anyway, this is a great buy. I have traded it in the past an dhave been ooking to get back in. I think it is one for the long term and I particualry liked Kloppers comment that BHP find platinum very attractive (although difficult to find good, safe mines).
