Like gravity can't be beaten, selling a little bit of gold which cost a lot of money to make (i.e running at a loss every month the mine EVER ran) is the thing which killed CDG. With no credibility after never meeting a target, CDG was reduced to getting funding to plug the hole it self created from people like this.
