The SP has never had a bearing on the pricing or structuring of any large scale farm-ins or deals - only on-market CR's which are rare with SOC
Take the Jiangsu JV for example - $21M for 30% of 10 tenements values them at $70M alone or 3 times our current cap, an SP equivalent 60c+
Likewise with PMR - the on-market SP has no weighting towards what they may sell our 80% holding for should they confirm sedex. My thoughts are if they do confirm sedex, a price of $1 minimum on PMR could be sought for our 80% holding, likely more if you look at comparable valuations on sedex deposits
The SP at the moment is primarily a result of the buying/selling of retail investors between themselves
We see the instos taking lines of 8.25M @ 18c to get set, which means they have confidence of a much higher SP and volume in the short term to provide an exit
I think you are right, something is certainly brewing
