News for Today (AEST)
The XJO closed lower on Tuesday.
Spread increased a little towards the downside, and the volume increased as well, which doesn't sound that great....except the close was in the middle, and right on top of the mid September highs. So it looks like a little (temporary ??) indecision has crept in for the short term.
There was definitely an increase in selling pressure on Tuesday (which is to be expected near the highs of the trading range), however the midbar close suggests some (speculative ??) positions were loaded on Tuesday (which may be quickly dumped if the index does not respond positively today, causing a wider spread downbar in the process).
As mentioned yesterday, the continuing sideways trading in a range, appears the highest probability for now.......
