Dear "Slick Rick",
please don't!.I enjoy reading yours (as well as Cpt Salty,ds cyph etc) for your technical interpretations of drilling announcements.We all must have some goal to aim at when investing at the pointy
end of resource shares/options,and if we all waited for
"resource announcements" to determine buying/entry
points then the speculation that we love would deminish
a la HDR at sub 10c.
For me its the rare shot at some steep leverage that
gets me throwing the dice!.And as with most punts,you can never expect 100% strike rate,you take a few hits.
But when the one does come off, your still in there
fighting.
If someone had told me 28/02/05 that we will have 3 out 3 hydrocabon shows and testing to follow at easter,
I'd of been encouraged by that!.Especially knowing that we are in a producing district in a country with infra structure,massive market and western government.
The old saying goes" got to be in it to win it"
