People seriously underestimate the time scales involved with implantable medical devices, when the SOC is a pill, or Chemo.
Time is money in more ways than one... I never heard the real reason they derailed the Australian trial to base it in the USA... My gut feeling was that if they get an IDE - they can charge for the treatment in the USA... but in Australia the system doesnt work that way.
The board never really explained that decision after we all waited for the ethics approval in Australia... and then the trial never started...
I found it hard to trust management - even more so when they narrowed the board down. Not implying anything has happened but it just doesnt look right.
