If the majority of Devs are utilizing it, I'm sure they are monitoring and checking their outputs to ensure the effect on quality, otherwise, why would they be using it if they could just simply do it better themselves?
I also don't think you understand what a survey is? It's surveying the people on the platform, software engineers (as you claim you are), devs, etc, not only people who would have a financial interest in AI lmao.
Again, if the majority of devs are now utilising it, that's pretty amazing for relatively new tech.
