Have any of you been to Mt Mulligan. It's a Mesa not a Mountain...

Have any of you been to Mt Mulligan. It's a Mesa not a Mountain and for the Most Part would be Perfect for CSG as much of the Coal Seam is up in the Air giving Unfetted Access.

The National Park is(or used to be)the Top of the Mesa.
The Railway Track is all Torn up and the Road is a Shocker.
I don't follow Mantle so I'm not sure of where they are at Regarding Mining Method.

I spoke to Ian Kramer several Years ago and he wouldn't let on other than they would use whatever Method best Suited. He was Keen at the Time to set up a Power Plant so rather than Transport the Coal, Produce Electricity.

I suggested CSG but he wouldn't be Drawn into an Answer.
The Rumour at the Time was that they wanted to Longwall It but the Abutment Pressures would be Unmanageable given that it is a Mesa.

Without knowing the Mining Method I Wouldn't Invest my Hard earned in Mantle on the Basis of Mt Mulligan.
Like I say it is Perfect for CSG.
