Looking at the 2007 Annual Report, and comparing it to last year (2006), there has been an accumulation by institutions. In 2006, there were three instos in the Top Ten shareholders (ANZ, JP Morgan and Citicorp). In the 2007 report, there are now 5 (ANZ, Citicorp, HSBC, JP Morgan and National [NAB]). It seems the instos are continuing to buy, possibly placing the 100K bids. ANZ is the second biggest shareholder with 6% and Citicorp with nearly 4%. The fund managers obviously think its a good long-term investment.
