This is my simple understanding...
The Share Price - is simply the curre nt Market value of the company, determined by all the buy & sell transactions
Now how much is it worth - well that a separate question and for a speculative stock, e.g. mining companies that are yet to go to production - this is all based on news and what may be - anticipation
Share price can fluctuate widely based on sentiments, risks, manipulations and everything in between
